Our hay, haylage and straw

Haylage

Our haylage is high nutrient and high fibre - ideal for competition horses.

With a high moisture level (typically between 60-70%) and low pH, our haylage gives the health benefits of a negligible spore count, with higher levels of digestible fibre, energy and protein.

Hay

There’s nothing like the smell of fresh hay, and fresh is when it’s highest in nutritional value. This is why we cut our hay from grass with a high leaf-to-stem ratio, and keep it stored in cool conditions. That way the hay holds it’s natural stores of vitamin A and E, has a lower dust count, and tastes better too.

Straw

Our straw is bright, clean barley or wheat straw, suitable for feeding or bedding and low in dust count.
